How it works

  1. Make your signature

Draw it, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your real one.

  2. Place it

Add your PDF, go to the right page, press Add signature, then drag and resize it into place.

  3. Save

Download the signed PDF, ready to send.

Good to know. This adds a picture of your signature, the same as signing a printout and scanning it back in. It isn’t a certificate-based digital signature, which some legal and financial documents need.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser using open-source libraries, so your file never leaves your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded and it’ll still work.

Is a signature added this way legally binding?

In the UK, an electronic signature like this is generally valid for everyday agreements, but some documents (deeds, for example) have stricter rules. If in doubt, ask whoever needs it signed.

Can I sign on more than one page?

Yes. Move to each page and press Add signature to this page. You can add several to the same page too.

Is my signature saved anywhere?

No. It only exists in this browser tab and in the PDF you download. Close the tab and it’s gone.
