Convert PDF to Excel.

Pull price lists, statements and reports out of a PDF and into rows and columns you can sort, total and chart.

How it works

  1. Add your PDF

Drop in a PDF with a table or list of figures in it.

  2. Choose the layout

One sheet per page, or everything stacked on one sheet.

  3. Download and check

Open the .xlsx in Excel or Google Sheets and check the columns.

Good to know. This is best-effort. PDFs don’t store tables, just words at positions on the page, so the tool works out rows and columns from where the text sits. Simple, evenly spaced tables come out well. Merged cells, text that wraps inside a cell, and multi-column page layouts can land in the wrong column, and scanned PDFs have no text to read at all. Always check the result before you rely on it.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser using open-source libraries, so your file never leaves your device. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded and it’ll still work.

Why are some values in the wrong column?

When a cell wraps onto two lines or columns aren’t lined up neatly, the position-based guess can go wrong. A quick drag in Excel usually fixes it.

Does it work with bank statements?

Often, yes, if the statement is a text PDF downloaded from your bank. Scanned or photographed statements need OCR, which this tool doesn’t do.

Can I open it in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or use File, Import.
